I'm getting close to finishing my first manuscript (nonfiction), and now I'm trying to figure out the best way to get it published. I'm torn between going with a book publishing house or doing it myself with platforms like Amazon KDP or Ingram book publishing.
I know self-publishing gives more control and better royalties, but there’s also something appealing about working with professional book publishers who can handle editing, design, and distribution at a high level.
That said, I’ve also heard good things about IngramSpark if you want wider distribution beyond Amazon. Has anyone here used Ingram book publishing for print or ebook distribution? What was your experience like in terms of setup, costs, and quality?
